The strongest technical aspect of my work was the cutting out the background of my picture. I spent a while on this in order to make the picture accurate without the white marks in the background.  I could have worked on the position of the polaroids framing the girl in my picture. I think I could have  got part of her leg and parts of her coat. Other than that, I think I have done a good job with the other aspects of the polaroid project.

The easy part of this project was finding a subject picture for the project along with the background images and the color. Another easy part of this project was finding and copying the empty polaroids. A difficult part about this project was figuring out how to do the background. We had to cut out around the entire image and I did mine several times to cut out the hands and feet carefully. I was frustrating and annoying to do along with the other images in the background.

I used the lasso tool multiple times in order to do the background of this project. I used the lasso tool with the subject of the project along with the polaroids to make them clear. I had to do tho with the music notes also to fit the background theme of dance and for it to blend with the pink. If I could change something about this project I would change the three images in the background. It was difficult to find three images that had dance in common and that could easily relate. It would have been easier to just do a background color and image so the project would not be overwhelming and take away form the main subject of the project.

  1. Nice job using the polygon lasso tool to create the illusion of Polaroids overlapping and something breaking the plane. I like your choice of symbols for the backgrounds but feel the 'shoe' layer should be a path that continues throughout and not stop short at the leg. Also, the symbol layer farthest away in appearance should be lower in opacity.
